| Today is my Valentine's birthday. Yep, my sweetie was born on Valentines day, and that could account for why he's so sweet, but I don't think so. I think he's so wonderful because God put together a pretty wonderful person when He created Tom. I love him more than when we first got married. I'm really looking forward to spending 2 weeks with him in Colombia. :) | | |
| I've been toying with the idea of transferring to blogger, because they allow anyone to comment. This way, my Mom & Aunt could leave comments without becoming members of Xanga. Here's the trial blog. What do you think? I could also be rid of those annoying ads. :) http://piecefulheart.blogspot.com/ | | |
| ...I'm getting there. I am not only preparing to fly to Colombia, I'm preparing to leave Texas for 5-6 weeks. That means I have to leave things here in good shape. Mary & I went to the DPS office today and applied for a state ID card, since she'll be traveling to Mexico without us for the first time. I wanted her to have some official, government issued ID--not that the border patrol ever checks it, but if they do, she'll be ok. It was quick & easy. I also checked quite a few other things off of my "to do" list. I actually didn't write too many new items on it at all, which was a relief. I really want to buy some clothes for our new children, but I don't really know their sizes. I've heard the suggestion to bring a range of sizes--some will hit, some will miss. I suppose I could do that--I just don't know what range we're talking about! Some latin american kids are quite a bit smaller than American kids, others are about the same size. I've put in an inquiry with the adoption agency, but I'm not sure how successful that will be. Now I need to think about Tom's birthday (Wednesday) and Valentines day..... I never feel like I do enough to bless him on his birthday or Valentines day, with the exception of last year. :) Sigh. He's such an awesome husband, he deserves better. | | |
